- Andrew Hore was born at Airds on 25 May 1820. He married Jessie Finlayson at Yass, NSW in 1845. He died on 17th April 1890 at Mugwee, Albury, NSW. Photo with thanks to Kellie Jones.

- Elizabeth’s death was reported in the Sydney Morning Herald on Thursday 14 September 1882…HORE – March 8, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs Ann Phibbs, Elizabeth, mother of John Hore, Esq, Melbourne, aged 96.

My maternal grandfather was William Herbert McLaughlin of Springsure, Kammel and Emerald. I am the only surviving child of his second daughter, Alexia Eleanor and have no children.
His older daughter Jeanette married Colin Francis Volling of Pine Hill and had surviving children, Jeanette Sbizzirrii (called Barbie, died 2008), Alexia Marsten , Peter Francis(?) Volling of Marmor, Christine Miller of Barmaryee, Marion Johnson (Bajool), Glennis Bentley (Flinders View, Q) and Penelope Geoghan of Ravenshoe.
His youngest daughter, Donna died in her teens.
I would like a copy of the book.
