Seriously, what’s going on in Surry Hills? Or at least my end of Crown Street… another shop closing.
I’m sure it will be replaced by a cafe or a restaurant in due course, but in the meantime, there’s more “for lease” signs in my part of Surry Hills than I’ve seen in the sixteen years I’ve lived here.
Oxford Street Paddington went through similar closures in the aftermath of the opening of Westfield Bondi Junction but encouragingly seems to be in recovery now.
