“Have you ever been to Nepal”, a man asked me this afternoon. “No”, I told him, adding, “I think I’d like to, though.”  I hadn’t realised there was such a large community of people from Nepal, living in Sydney. I also hadn’t realised there was a festival until a friend sent me a text yesterday, asking if I would like to attend with her. The food was great, the dancing was great, the people were friendly. A terrific afternoon. I hope it happens again next year, as I’ll diarise to remember.
