I was lucky enough to be invited to a function tonight at Bondi Icebergs. What a place and what a view!!
What was it like? I’ve always looked in and thought it looked good. I was actually nearly there myself tonight as our swimming squad has moved from the Cook & Philip pool to the Icebergs, but I haven’t managed to make it yet… as nice as Bondi is, it’s just a bit far!
You mean the “Cock & Feel Up” pool, as my friend calls it? Yes, it is a bit far, though I shared a cab there and caught a bus home and so (listening to a podcast along the way) it didn’t seem all that far. The venue is great, though I didn’t spend all that much time looking at the ocean, since the people to chat to were very interesting. Speaking of which, I went to “Fruits In Suits” again tonight, and had a terrific time meeting some really interesting people. And I received 3 business cards!!! I reckon you might like it, Tom?
Yup, that sums up the C&P pool… there are signs in the changing rooms encouraging you to report any naughtiness to the receptionist (so that he can do something about it, or so that he can join in I’m not sure)!
