Disability Art in Lismore

Several times over the last few months I’ve walked past the offices of REDinc, located in Magellan Street, Lismore.

I don’t know much about REDinc, except they’re a disability organisation based here. On their website, they describe themselves in these terms.

REDinc is a not-for-profit community organisation established in 1991 by a group of parents of school leavers with disabilities who were concerned at the lack of meaningful options for their children as they transitioned from school.

What has captured my attention most has been the public art on their outside office walls. I really love the work, and so I thought I’d share it with you today. I’d really appreciate comments from anyone who might know more about the artists/subjects.
