2011 Love Family Reunion
On Saturday, April 30, 2011 a Love Family and Descendants Reunion was held at Keppel/Capricorn Rooms, Frenchville Sports Club. 105 Clifton Street, NORTH ROCKHAMPTON
A book on the Love Family Descendants and Associated Families “A Family began with Love” was also launched and became available for sale at $45 per copy (which just covers the printing cost).

My mother was a Love and was born in Braidwood NSW. Her parents were John Alfred Darke Love and Olive Beryl Whitfield. My Great,Great Grand father was Richard James Love who came to Hobart town Australia as a paying passenger on a ship from Scotland in the early 1800s. If anyone has info on this Love connection.
I am a descendant as well. I only just saw this today. I have a large Family Tree on Ancestry.
I really don’t think your ancestors are from this Love family.
When is the next reunion? My ancestors were John Hore and Elizabeth’s Love’s son William and his son Robert Andrew and my grandmother was Jessie Hore who married Harold Falk.
Hi, I am Eden Love, directly descended from the John and Martha Love in this brilliant article. I only just found this site and am keen to know more about my heritage. I know a fair amount about the two generations above me but not much after that.
My Love Family were Samuel Love and Rosetta Bond. They came to Victoria in 1851 with Samuel’s two children from a previous marriage and my great grandmother Frances Love. I believe they came from Cavan, Ireland or Westmeath.

Any information on a Paul Love who landed in Keppel Bay in 1863 on the ship ‘Rockhampton’. He and his wife Mary Jane McMullen had a daughter Anne Love who was born in Rockhampton in 1864. Anne had a son William Miller Love who was born in 1885 and was adopted out… Any info would be appreciated
