Weekend in Katoomba

I reached the conclusion about half way through last week I needed some “country air”. Though I could have booked a flight home to Lismore, I concluded the answer to my dilemma was closer than I thought. Only two hours away by train, I booked a single room (upgraded to a double) in a hostel (costing $75 for the night), at Katoomba, and headed up yesterday morning, returning this evening. I’ll write later about some of my adventures from the weekend, but in the meantime, here’s some lovely photographs.
