Lismore’s Recovery

It’s been ten months now since the catastrophic flood hit Lismore, my hometown.

The damage is still being felt in many ways. Emotionally and financially, many people remain scarred.

But there are signs of optimism, with an increasing number of re-opened shops. Re-opened shops won’t tell you how people are feeling, but they’re still a recovery indicator.

So today, I went for a walk around the block and recorded this short video.
