My mother Mabel Rodgers nee Drummond was the daughter of Matilda Drummond nee Hore . Matilda was the daughter of Andrew and Jessie Hore.
I have a cutting from an Albury newspaper written about Jessie Hore on the occasion of her 85th birthday. The newspaper is almost unreadable now but I had it typewritten some years ago and am happy to share it. I also have copies of poems written by Matilda and there is reference to Mugwee and to the “great flood. Monday 20th Oct 1879.
